Rehearsal Information
If you are a woman who enjoys singing and performing and are at least age16, we would love to have you join us and share in the fun of singing and performing a wide variety of music. Since four-part harmony has a wide range of voice parts, women with high or low voices can find a part that is comfortable for them to sing. As a member, you will have many opportunities to increase your vocal and performance skills. No doubt, you will also develop friendships that will last a lifetime!
When: Tuesday evening @ 7pmWhere:
Rutledge Memorial Baptist Church, 2014 Bees Ferry Road, Charleston, (between Rt 61 and Glenn McConnell)
What we do:
We start with physical warm-ups @7:00, followed by vocal warm-ups. Then we do our musical rehearsal. The content varies based on our upcoming events. Then we have a short business meeting and conclude around 9:30.
What to wear:
Casual clothing and comfortable shoes...we stand on risers for most of the evening. Don't fear, if you can't stand for long periods of time you can always sit down.
What to bring:
Bring plenty of water to drink and a pencil to take notesDon'ts:
Please don't wear heavy perfume or hairspray. When we stand on the risers, the fragrances can make those standing around you uncomfortable. We also try to limit talking while we are on the risers so we get the most out of our rehearsal time.
